Our Style
Before you start writing, let’s make sure we are on the same page about writing guidelines:
We prefer a casual and friendly tone as if you were chatting with a friend.
Focus on clarity rather than using jargon.
Use proper formatting: subheadings, images, lists, blockquotes, and other structural elements to help readability.
If you use visual content, make sure you have the right to use any images and include a source for each image.
The purpose of these articles is to provide value to our readers. We do not permit the promotion of products or services.
We only publish unique, original content that has not been published elsewhere. Plagiarism or AI-generated content is strictly prohibited.
Your writing should be of high quality and free from spelling or grammatical errors.
The recommended article length is between 1000 and 1500 words, but you can go above or below those numbers as long as the article provides value.
Approach your writing from a unique angle, ensuring your post is original and distinct from existing articles on bookcoverart.co.
Use short paragraphs with no more than 3-4 sentences each, making it easier for readers to skim through the content.
Note that we reserve the right to edit the content you submit, to correct errors or enhance readability. We will inform you of any changes we wish to make.
Don’t send us press releases, sales pitches, product reviews, advertorials, etc. We also retain the right to reject articles that are clearly intended for mass distribution.
You may include a maximum of 3 self-serving links in your bio: two to your website (do-follow link) and another to your social media channel. Generally, limit external links to around 5.
Crediting sources is crucial and doesn't diminish your expertise. When in doubt, give credit to be on the safe side.
We don’t accept any gambling, CBD, or adult content (or anything not related to books, writing, and publishing).

There is a $50 fee associated with guest articles that covers editing and content management (paid by PayPal or via a bank transfer). Unfortunately, we can’t offer discounts at this point. If your article is accepted, we’ll get in touch with you about payment details. When you submit the article, you agree with the payment conditions.
